Dr. Kathleen Schuster has always called the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex her home. Although she was born in Columbia, South Carolina, her family settled in the DFW area well before her second birthday. She received her undergraduate degree in nutrition from Texas A&M University in College Station, and then went on to study at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio where she earned her D.D.S. degree.
Her decision to choose a career in family dentistry was fueled by her passion for esthetics (cosmetic dentistry) along with her genuine enthusiasm for helping people maintain a healthy smile. She finds the satisfaction she receives when she helps people feel comfortable and “at home” to be very rewarding.
"My goal is to welcome each patient into a different type of dental office, where advanced technology is combined with a gentle, peaceful environment. I want them to look forward to coming to the office because they know they will be greeted with warm smiles, and they’ll be comfortable and well taken care of throughout their visit. My staff and I love getting to know our patients and forming a partnership with them to keep their smiles healthy and bright."
Dr. Schuster’s spare time is divided amongst her four passions; her husband, Glenn, her two chihuahuas, Lilly and Beau, cooking, and traveling.
Dr. Ross Jackson grew up in McKinney and graduated from McKinney North High School. He completed his Bachelor of Science degree from Texas Christian University, where he met his future wife, Kristi. He attended UT Health Science Center at San Antonio Dental School and graduated Cum Laude. From there, he completed a one-year General Dentistry residency at Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas.
Dr. Jackson believes in treating his patients as family members. He believes in compassionate, high quality dental care for the whole family. He is dedicated to serving McKinney and the surrounding areas for years to come.
Dr. Jackson is a member of the American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry and North Texas Dental Society.
In his spare time, Dr. Jackson enjoys spending time with his wife and son, Bennett. He also loves traveling, playing golf and watching sports.
Dr. Tim and Dr. Jodi primarily work with our sister practice, Texas Pediatric Dentistry. However, they sometimes see patients here at Stonebridge Ranch Dentistry.
Dr. Tim Brister grew up in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area. In 2002, he graduated from Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas. Dr. Tim then completed three additional years of specialty training in Pediatric Dentistry. This specialized program of study and hands-on experience prepared him to meet the unique needs of infants, children and adolescents, including those with special health care needs. He received a Master’s degree in Dental Public Health at the University of Iowa College of Dentistry, as well as the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics and the Center for Disabilities and Development.
Dr. Tim is a member of the following dental organizations: Texas Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, American Dental Association, Greater Dallas Pediatric Dental Society, Texas Dental Society, and North Texas Dental Society.
He decided to specialize in pediatric dentistry because after being a general dentist, he realized that when he was working with children, he felt like he was making a difference. Dr. Tim believes kids are like sponges just waiting for someone with a little patience to show them how to do things.
Limiting his practice enables him to set up an environment designed to encourage imagination and learning. Dr. Tim enjoys being a pediatric dentist because it is one of the few professions where a professional can have fun with children all day long and watch them grow up from infancy all the way to college.
In his spare time, Dr. Tim likes spending time with his wife, Heather, daughter Paige, and son Hayden; restoring old cars; camping; cooking; and visiting small towns in Texas.
Dr. Jodi Tenney grew up in Plano, Texas and then went to Texas A&M in College Station. Her dental degree came from Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas. She also went on to complete two extra years there to specialize in Pediatric Dentistry and received her certificate in this field. Dr. Jodi decided to specialize in pediatrics because she feels that she can make a difference. Being a mom of three young kids has given her the patience and perspective to be able to compassionately treat children. Dr. Jodi loves seeing kids that love coming to the dentist and being able to give a little encouragement to those that don’t.
In her spare time, she likes to spend time with her husband, Alex, and her three kids Ethan, Olivia and Rowan. As a family, they enjoy skiing, swimming and traveling the world.”
