Dr. Tim Brister — Owner

Dr. Tim Brister grew up in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area. In 2002, he graduated from Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas. Dr. Tim then completed three additional years of specialty training in Pediatric Dentistry. This specialized program of study and hands-on experience prepared him to meet the unique needs of infants, children and adolescents, including those with special health care needs. He received a Master’s degree in Dental Public Health at the University of Iowa College of Dentistry, as well as the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics and the Center for Disabilities and Development.

Dr. Tim is a member of the following dental organizations: Texas Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, American Dental Association, Greater Dallas Pediatric Dental Society, Texas Dental Society, and North Texas Dental Society.

He decided to specialize in pediatric dentistry because after being a general dentist, he realized that when he was working with children, he felt like he was making a difference. Dr. Tim believes kids are like sponges just waiting for someone with a little patience to show them how to do things.

Limiting his practice enables him to set up an environment designed to encourage imagination and learning. Dr. Tim enjoys being a pediatric dentist because it is one of the few professions where a professional can have fun with children all day long and watch them grow up from infancy all the way to college.

In his spare time, Dr. Tim likes spending time with his wife, Heather, daughter Paige, and son Hayden; restoring old cars; camping; cooking; and visiting small towns in Texas.

Dr. Ross Jackson

Dr. Ross Jackson grew up in McKinney and graduated from McKinney North High School. He completed his Bachelor of Science degree from Texas Christian University, where he met his wife, Kristi. He attended UT Health Science Center at San Antonio Dental School and graduated Cum Laude. From there, he completed a one-year General Dentistry residency at Texas A&M College of Dentistry in Dallas.

Dr. Jackson believes in treating his patients as family members. He strives to deliver compassionate, high quality dental care for the whole family. He is dedicated to serving McKinney, Frisco and the surrounding areas for years to come.

Dr. Jackson is a member of the American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry and North Texas Dental Society.

In his spare time, Dr. Jackson enjoys spending time with his wife and two sons, Bennett and Wells. He also loves traveling, playing golf and watching sports.

Dr. Laura Bratcher

Dr. Laura Bratcher grew up in the surrounding area, and after graduating from The Colony High School, she attended Texas A&M University where she received her B.S. in Biomedical Science. She then went on to dental school at UT Health Science Center at San Antonio, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude and with Dean’s Honors in 2002.

Dr. Laura prides herself on treating her patients as if they were her own family members or closest friends. Her greatest pleasure has been creating “smile makeovers” and giving her patients the confidence to smile again. She aims to provide thorough, honest, and gentle care, with the ultimate goal of creating a life-long patient/dentist relationship.

Outside of dentistry, Dr. Laura enjoys spending time with her family, her two boys, Brayden and Brody, and their dogs, Ollie and Sayla. She enjoys running, reading, traveling, cheering on her beloved Aggies, and just enjoying life!!

Dr. Brianna Starr

Brianna Starr was born in Dallas and raised in Wylie, Texas. She attended the University of North Texas where she graduated Summa Cum Laude with a BA in Biology and a minor in Chemistry. After leaving UNT, she moved to Houston to attend the University of Texas School of Dentistry where she received her DDS degree.

Dr. Starr has a passion for improving her patients’ lives. She understands that each unique patient encounter presents an opportunity for addressing various dental and lifestyle demands. She feels it is a privilege to connect with individuals of all ages and to offer her expertise based on patient needs. More than anything, Dr. Starr values the long-term relationships and care she gives to her patients. She treats everyone as she would her family, with respect, empathy, and kindness. She goes the extra mile to help her patients find the best dental, health, and aesthetic options for their needs and lifestyle.

Outside of dentistry, Dr. Starr likes to spend as much of her spare time as possible with her adorable daughter, Sasha, and Pomeranian, Emjay. She is an active member of her local Lutheran church and enjoys having family live close by. She also likes to try new vegetarian recipes, go on road trips, wine tours, and see live music performances!
